Stunning New Kitchen in Tuscany-Canturby

Our client purchased a condo in the Tuscany-Canterbury neighbor of Baltimore city over the summer. The existing kitchen in the unit had been recently remodeled, but it was done poorly with cheap builder’s grade cabinetry, basic appliances and faux granite laminate tops. The workmanship on the tile floor was not up to our client’s or our standards. With big gaps between the tile and the door jambs, the tile had to be redone as well.

We met in our kitchen showroom to discuss the plan to transform the newly outdated and underwhelming kitchen into a modern kitchen. The style we came up with could be called cottage contemporary. With painted maple raised panel cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, the room has a much more modern and pleasant feel than the old ugly “cathedral arched” cabinets. We paired a gray base cabinet with a cream wall cabinet and Carbono Silestone. A glass subway tile serves as the backs-plash. The cabinetry and counter tops were complimented by a medium gray plank style porcelain tile floor. Stainless steel KitchenAid appliances provide a sleek, modern look. Overall, our client was very pleased with the resulting kitchen.
