Low sloped roofs require ongoing maintenance. Older metal and built-up roofs can benefit from specialized roof coatings. Even some older single ply membrane roofs might benefit from a life extending roof coating. Currently, there are quite a few coatings to choose from, including asphalt based emulsion, fibered aluminum coatings, acrylic and silicone based coating systems. Pinholes and cracks and be filled and sealed and covered with polyester fabric prior to roof coating.
